The new Samsung Galaxy S24 series, which has received impressive pre-orders thanks to its transformational Galaxy AI capabilities, is now available in the Kenyan market.

The series, equipped with Galaxy AI capabilities, has garnered impressive pre-orders, achieving a double-digit increase compared to its predecessor.

Anthony Hutia, Head of Mobile Experience at Samsung Electronics East Africa, expressed excitement about the Galaxy S24 series, stating, “The launch of the Galaxy S24 series demonstrates our initial step towards a new era of AI phones that go beyond the current smartphone. Designed to be an essential part of our daily lives, Galaxy AI will permanently change the way people interact with the world."

With more than 80 per cent of consumers opting for the premium Galaxy S24 Ultra, the series is now available in Kenya through Safaricom and Samsung outlets.

In Kenya, the Galaxy S24 series comes with recommended retail prices as follows: Sh174,999 for the Galaxy S24 8+256GB, Sh189,999 for the Galaxy S24+ 12+256GB variant, Sh234,999 for the 12+512GB variant, Sh274,999 for the Galaxy S24 Ultra 12+256GB variant, and Sh276,999 for the 12+512GB variant.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra comes in Titanium Grey, Black, Violet, and Titanium Yellow, while the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 are available in various colours, including Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet, and Amber Yellow.

Galaxy AI introduces innovative features such as Live Translate and Chat Assist, facilitating barrier-free communication. Google's Circle to Search with Google sets a new standard for search functionality.

The ProVisual Engine, a suite of AI-powered camera tools, offers new zoom capabilities and generative AI for enhanced image capture and editing.

Samsung is committed to democratising these innovations, making them accessible to a broader audience.

Additional language options will be introduced for AI features, and most Galaxy AI experiences will be extended to previous models through software updates, covering the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series.

In a move towards sustainability, the Galaxy S24 series promises a longer and more reliable product lifecycle by offering seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
